Social Media

Our District has a variety of social media we use to promote our events with discussion among members. We have two Facebook sites – a Page and a Group. The latter will not work with the footer widget, so it is displayed here. Our page feed is displayed on the bottom menu, as it will work with the footer widget. Our Feeds are limited to the 5 most recent posts for each feed. Known problem – Mobile version is not showing a few clubs properly, but does work on desktop version.

For more of the feed, please visit District 4-C4 Facebook Group Page

Lions District 4-C4 (San Francisco, San Mateo County & Palo Alto)

Welcome! This is your gateway to the Lions of District 4-C4, from San Francisco to San Mateo County and including Palo Alto - 52 clubs in all and nearly 1,700 members. The motto of Lions, "We Serve", says it all. Lions International is the largest service organization in the world whose members seek to serve their communities and those in need. We are proud to say that where Lions go, problems get solved and lives get better. WHERE THERE'S A NEED, THERE'S A LION You don't have to be a Lions member to enjoy many of the incredible fundraising events such as pancake breakfasts, crab feeds, dinner/dances and sports events. You can also learn more about the valuable services Lions provide in our communities such as vision and hearing care, veterans support, blood drives and youth service and sports. All Lions are encouraged to use Facebook to communicate to members and community members. It is a great tool to publicize upcoming projects and events. Non-Lions are welcome to join our group and stay informed. Who knows? You just might want to JOIN US!

Calling all leos, lions, and friends!
You're invited to the Leo District 4-C4 Charter Party! I'm Leo Dina Zheng, charter president of the Aragon High School leos and also the newly appointed first leo district president of district 4-C4, and I want to invite you to come and celebrate the birth of the leo district! This is the official chartering of the leos clubs in the local area as an official leo district that is registered with Lions Club International. For the first time ever, the leos of the district will be gathered together and recognized as their own leo district 4-C4! All leos and lions are highly encouraged to come and commemorate this important day that marks the start of the growth of leos and lions in our community. The district governor Rod Mercado and his board will be present and inducting the new district leo board as well! Anyone is welcome, even non-leos, and parents are encouraged to attend and support leos.
To all leo clubs, we want to see as many attendees as possible and at least one leo to represent your club! The district wants as many Leos as possible to be there so they can be recognized in our district and requires at least one leo representive there! Since the district doesn't know how many Leos or leo clubs there are in this district due to little organization and leadership, they will be taking this opportunity to find out so it's pretty important to show up and also know how many leo members you have in your club. To the lion clubs and those who are sponsoring leo clubs, please urge your lions and leos to attend and represent. Please help share the event with friend and family.

Enjoy food, fun, and a photo booth! There will be guest speakers as well. Don't miss out on the fun and meet new friends from other clubs in this district.

When: 3-6PM on Sunday 5/28
Where: Filipino 7th Day Adventist Church
533 Hickey Blvd. Pacifica, CA 94404
$10 for leos/students and $30 for lions/adults
RSVP via Google form(link in comments section) or to Leo Dina Zheng/Leo Elise Kratzer

RSVP DEADLINE: THIS FRIDAY 5/26

Foster City Lions Club

Chartered in 1967, the Foster City Lions Club has been a vital force in the development and growth of our city. Our motto, the same as that of Lions International and the more than 40,000 clubs worldwide, is "We Serve." We do so by striving to make our community a better place to live and by trying to enrich the lives of those who are less fortunate. Lions clubs are neither religious nor political organizations, nor formed for business purposes. Our approximately 80 members both work and enjoy socializing together. Please spend a few minutes perusing our site to find out more about Lions and our specific club activities. If we have aroused your interest, you can inquire how you might become a member of our club, which has been given the district "Top Club Award" seven years in a row. We welcome like-minded people, regardless of gender, creed or nationality.

Lions, spouses, guests, community leaders and friends all attended the 80th Millbrae Lions Club Installation of 2017-2018 Officers at the Basque Cultural Center, Friday, June 16, 2017. This beautifully formal and striking evening ushered in the new MLC Board of Lion President Dave Van Wart, and a big thanks to a successful outgoing term of Lion President Bruce Sutter and his Board. It was acknowledged that NINE new Millbrae Lions were inducted during this past term along with a great number of donations to various community causes. Lion President Bruce Sutter gave out a number of awards to well deserving Lions, including Lion 2nd VP Bart Speccia as LION OF THE YEAR! Lion President Bruce presented incoming Lion President Dave with his President's Gavel, and concluded the ceremony with the customary dual ringing of the President's bells. Thanks to Lion PP Lorrie Kalos for her well worked job as Installation Chair, to Lion PP Paul Bourque as MC and to Lion PP Calvin Chin as the Installing Officer...along with all who helped to put this grand evening together. Music and dancing followed late into the evening. Congratulations to all Millbrae Lions and thanks to all who attended. From Lion PP Paul Larson.
