The district governor may appoint a District Governor’s Honorary Committee comprised of past international officers who are members in good standing of clubs within the district. This committee meets when and as called upon by the district governor. It acts under the direction of the district governor in the promotion of harmony throughout the district. The chairperson of the committee attends meetings of the cabinet when requested by the district governor.
