District Convention 2020

Dear Lions,

Due to the current environment and to ensure the safety of our valued Lion members of District 4-C4 Community, we are deeply concerned about the health and wellbeing of our Lion members.

To help bring us together and to maximize opportunities to network, socialize and communicate, we will be scheduling weekly virtual network meetings every Friday evening @ 7pm that will offer Lion members the opportunity to discuss via teleconferencing current concerns. Lions can access the call by telephone, laptops, computers and other portable devices. The only requirement you need to have is access to the internet. Watch your email for the access code.

District Cabinet Members, District Leaders, District Officers, Region Chairs, Zone Chairs and District Convention Committee Members are committed to work together, with compassion, advocacy, unity, teamwork, collaborate and coordinate action plans and to respond to the health needs, safety and protection of our District Lions Members.

During these testing times, we are aware that some within our  Lions community may feel isolated, need assistance with food, transportation to doctor’s appointments,  or have questions; I request that you set up phone trees in your club, zones and regions to make sure our members have their needs met. In the coming months please know that the District 4-C4 team is here to help you through these challenging times.  Please reach out to your district, club, zone and region leaders with questions and/or just to talk!  We will maintain regular contact with you to keep you up to date with changes within the district and let you know about any proposals and motions we intend to release to bring our community together.
