District committees assist district officers in accomplishing district goals. Lions Clubs International officially recognizes 18 committees. Some Chairs are appointed for 3 year terms, subject to annual confirmation. The LCIF District Coordinator serves as the LCIF ambassador in the district and can provide valuable information about opportunities to support LCIF as well as information about grant programs for local service projects. Appointments of committee chairpersons are made by the District Governor
