Make a Donation

Lions can donate to their community in a variety of ways but the there are key fellowships that members can donate and get a plaque, pin, and recognition in front of their peers:

  • Melvin Jones Fellowship - $1000 to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)
  • Helen Keller Fellowship - $1000 to Lions Eye Foundation (LEF)
  • Don Stanaway Fellowship - $250 Single Fellow / $500 Life Fellow to LEF
  • Fred Smith Fellowship - $500 to Student Speaker Foundation
  • There are 3 other fellowships to Student Speaker Foundation starting ranging from $200 to $400
  • Canine Companion Life Membership - $300 to Lions Canine Companions for Independence Project, Inc.
  • Other fellowships or recognition for donations to LCIF and other Lions endorsed programs exist, too

Attend a Meeting

Lions clubs in District 4C4 meet in a variety of ways and frequency:

  • Evening
  • Lunch
  • Breakfast
  • Weekly
  • Once  or twice a month
  • By conference call with an occasional or quarterly meeting in person
  • Most clubs have meetings at a restaurant or catered venue
  • Most club meetings feature a meal, club business, and a program - visiting speaker, service project, or fellowship outing.
  • Most clubs meet for least 90 minutes in their meetings.
  • There is also a Board meeting, typically for officers and members only. Some clubs have it before their club meeting on the same night, others have it during the month on a separate day or night.
