Guidelines/Requirements for 2021-2022 Governor Candidates

I have appointed the Nominating Committee for the purpose of qualifying candidates for the governor positions in District 4-C4 2021-2022:

Per LCI Standard Constitution and By Laws, this Committee will be in office from December 1, 2020 until the end of District 4-C4 Convention scheduled for May 12-16, 2021.
 
Candidates for 2nd  Vice District Governor must complete  2nd Vice District Governor Nominating Form and submit via email to Lion Lyle Workman or mail to Lion Lyle Workman, 1039 Pittsburg CA 94565. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2021. Detailed duties for the position of 2nd Vice District Governor can be found in District Policy Manual Revised July 1, 2018 beginning on Page 185 of 2020-2021 District Directory.
 
Candidates for 1 st Vice District Governor must complete  1st Vice District Governor Nominating Form and submit via email to Lion Lyle Workman or mail to Lion Lyle Workman, 1039 Pittsburg CA 94565. District By-laws Information for Candidates:
Article 1 – Elections information for Candidates:
Section 2.  Any member in good standing of a Chartered Lions Club in good standing who qualifies under the provisions of the Standard District Constitution and By-Laws may be elected District Governor or 1st or 2nd Vice District Governor. The Lion seeking the office of District Governor or 1st or 2nd Vice District Governor must first file his/her intention to run in writing [nominating committee checklist] to the nominating committee beginning December 1st [year preceding the district convention] and by March 1st (year of the convention) and be ruled qualified by the Nominating Committee to run for his/her selected district office.
Section 2a.  He/she must announce, through the President of his/her club, his/her candidacy to all clubs within District 4-C4 by March 1st, but not before January 1st of the year of his/her term of office would commence.
