San Francisco Bay Area Lions are celebrating Lions 100th Birthday. This once-in-a-lifetime event is a dynamic occasion for sharing, learning, discussion and acknowledgment of the Lion community from the Mountains to the Golden Gate Bridge to the Pacific Ocean. The Centennial Celebration highlights the diverse volunteers and successful local and international community projects and service that focus on vision, health, literacy, and the environment. Our Lions Mission is “We Serve.” Let’s celebrate together our strong and diverse community on Saturday, March 25, 2017 doing what we do best – serving others! We encourage Lions and non-Lions alike, champions, and supporters of youth activities, vision programs, hunger initiatives, and environmental projects around the world to join us! Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel, 1800 Old Bayshore Hwy, Burlingame, CA 94010. The Centennial Celebration and Fun includes an evening of rollicking good fun, great entertainers, display tables, silent auction, dancing, hors d’oeuvre, raffle, and seated 3-course plated dinner … And, did I mention prizes? Please invite your friends and club to attend. The attire is formal. The cost per person is $100; table for 10 is $1,000 (includes Club Display Table if available); and Club Display Table is $200.
