It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lion Richard Kishimoto. Lion Dick was a member of the San Francisco Nikkei Lions Club since 1988 and was club president in 1991, 2005 and Lion of the Year 2013. Lion Dick retired as a Sargent Major E9 after serving a total of 43 years in the Army and Reserves and was a Trustee Emeritus with the Lions Veterans Charities. He was most well-known for his singing and music, especially during cabinet meetings, conventions and his rendition of God Bless the USA.
Services will be held in Marysville and Hilo in the spring.
