Foster City Lions Club is saddened to announce the passing of Lion Barbara Bergero. Lion Barbara was a dedicated member, joining the club in 2004. Her commitment to service was evident during her time as the Membership Chair in 2006 and 2009. She was also one of the first members to start a White Cane Days event with a spaghetti and bingo night, inviting the blind veterans from Redwood City yearly with the Leos serving dinner and then sitting with the veterans to play bingo.
We currently have no information regarding services. Cards of condolences may be sent to 815 Rigel Lane, Foster City, CA 94404.

- The Thread will be published once a week – usually on Sunday evening
- Event and Community Service Flyers may be included on The Thread if the event is sponsored by LCI, MD-4, District 4-C4, 4-C4 Lions Club(s) in good standing with the sponsoring Lions Club(s) listed. If the sponsoring club(s) are not listed, flyer will be returned to sender to modify.
- Ongoing Projects are activities/events not held on consecutive days/dates.
- Flyers/Announcements may be listed/included on The Thread if received by Noon each Friday. Please email to lions4service@gmail.com. Flyers will be acknowledged as received to the sender – if you do not receive an acknowledgement, please resend.
