The South San Francisco Host Lions Club is saddened to report the passing of Past President Lion Basil Cavalieri, a dedicated member for 59 years. For the past 40 years, he served as the club’s sight chair. Lion Basil was very generous with his time and financial support of the club and an active member of the community. He was recognized with many awards, including South San Francisco Person of the Year.

Cards of condolence may be sent to the family at 28 Camino Alto, Millbrae, CA 94030. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Lions Eye Foundation, or the National Kidney Foundation. Click here for details and the full obituary.
