The Millbrae Lions Club and community have lost a great friend, grocer, and U.S. Navy veteran. Lion Ron Pape passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. Born in San Francisco in 1933, Ron became a Millbrae Lion in 1976 and was a Life Member with over 40 years of dedicated service. A butcher by trade, he founded Pape Meat Market in 1958, a Millbrae institution known for quality meats and service. Though not a past president, Lion Ron was active in the club.

Funeral services are pending. Cards may be sent to Larry Pape at PO Box 370212, Montara, CA 94037.
