Dear District 4-C4 Lions, Clubs, Families, and Friends,
You are invited to join us for a day of food, music, fellowship, and fun at our District 4-C4 Lions Picnic!
Our goal is simple: bring Lions from throughout the district together in a relaxed setting to meet one another, strengthen friendships between clubs, share our cultures, and enjoy being Lions together.
DISTRICT 4-C4 LIONS PICNIC
Sunday, October 4, 2026
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Coyote Point Recreation Area
Eucalyptus Group Sites 3 & 4
San Mateo, California
Hosted by Bair Island Cyber Lions Club, with all District 4-C4 Lions, families, friends, and guests invited.
What to Look Forward To
🎵 Music & DJ Entertainment with District Governor Jimmy Ness
🍽️ Multicultural Food & BBQ featuring food shared by participating clubs and cultures throughout our district
🀄 Mahjong & Games
🤝 District-Wide Fellowship — bring your spouse, family, friends, prospective Lions, and guests
🦁 Bair Island Cyber Lions Club Installation — a short installation ceremony will also be held during the afternoon
Food & BBQ
The picnic area has four large adjustable charcoal grills. Grill times will be coordinated so clubs can prepare and serve food throughout the day.
Bair Island Cyber Lions Club will provide charcoal, water and some non-alcoholic beverages.
Clubs using cooking equipment other than the charcoal grills should bring their own equipment.
For food contributions, BBQ participation, menus, or grill scheduling, please coordinate with Lion Salome – salomekfung@yahoo.com
Picnic Cost & Club Contributions
The standard picnic contribution is: $20 per adult
Children age 12 and under are free
We also want the picnic costs to be fair to clubs that are contributing food or other agreed picnic expenses.
A participating club’s approved contribution will be taken into consideration when determining what that club and its attendees contribute toward the picnic. Clubs making larger food or picnic contributions should not be expected to pay the same amount as a club bringing only attendees.
The goal is not to make money from the picnic — it is simply to share the cost fairly among everyone participating.
Payment can also be made onsite by cash.
Additional payment information – picnic flyer.
A Few Picnic Reminders
There are many picnic tables at our reserved sites, but with a large turnout we may need additional seating. If you have a portable folding or camp chair, please consider bringing it with you.
Parking at Coyote Point is $6 per vehicle on Sunday, so carpooling is encouraged when convenient.
RSVP
Please RSVP to Lion Mary Koo liondistrictmarykoo@gmail.com and include the number of people attending with you.
If your club would like to contribute food, organize an activity or game, or add something special to the day, please let us know.
This picnic is about connection, fellowship, and bringing our district together.
We hope every District 4-C4 club will be represented.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring a prospective Lion. Bring your appetite — and come enjoy the day with your fellow Lions!
We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, October 4!
Yours in Lionism,
