Three new ways to stay connected

Hello Lions,

We’ve added three helpful features to district4c4.org to make it easier to find events, hear about service projects, and get help when you need it. Each one takes just a minute to set up.

1. Weekly Email Digest

Get a free email every Sunday listing approved district events and service projects for the next four weeks. Each listing links to the website for full details.

Please note: Receiving this email does not sign you up for the weekly digest. To get it, please sign up on the Weekly Updates page.

2. Device Notifications

You can also get alerts on your phone or computer when new events and service projects are approved, plus a reminder when the weekly update is ready. Turn them on from the same Weekly Updates page.

On iPhone or iPad:

1. Open district4c4.org in Safari and add it to your Home Screen.
2. Open the site from that new Home Screen icon.
3. Go to Weekly Updates and tap “Turn on notifications.”
4. Tap Allow when asked.

On Android or a computer: Visit Weekly Updates in a supported browser and choose Allow when asked.

Good to know: Adding the site to your Home Screen does not turn on alerts by itself. You’ll need to allow notifications on each device you want them on. Not every browser supports notifications.

3. Help Documents

Our new Help page has simple, step-by-step guides for:

• Weekly email
• Device notifications
• Installing the app
• Finding events and projects
• Submitting listings
• Volunteering
• Directory access
