We are saddened to learn of the passing of Harley Cherne, brother of First Lady Lion Tamera Guess. Condolences may be sent to Lion Tamera Guess, 1050 Borregas Ave., Space 10 Sunnyvale, CA 94089.
Burlingame Lions Club has reported that former Burlingame Lion Jerry Coleman passed away last week. Jerry served as City Attorney for the City of Burlingame for 22 years and moved to Sebastopol in 2011. He was an active member of the Burlingame Lions Club, and an avid traveler. He loved exploring Great Britain through their canals, and he presented several lunch programs on his adventures there. After his retirement, he moved to Sebastopol with his wife, Mary. He joined the Sebastopol Gravenstein Lions Club, serving as President in 2019. Jerry was also active in the Senior Center for many years, eventually taking a seat on the Board of Directors.
Memorial services are scheduled for November 18, 2023 @ 2 PM at the Community Church of Sebastopol.
